Renovation of a municipal facility in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
In general, the work consists of: This project involves upgrades to a Department of Transportation radio site located in South-eastern Wisconsin. Scope includes replacing the interior generator with a larger exterior generator, along with upgrading the on-site LP fuel supply tank. Additional scope includes upgrades to the site electrical infrastructure and general site upgrades that accommodate the new site equipment. The site operates as a communications node for state-wide public life safety operations. The scope of this project shall inevitably disrupt services, which shall be coordinated with the agency a minimum of two weeks in advance. Care shall be taken to minimize the duration and extent of operational outages. Extreme caution must be exercised throughout construction to ensure site operations are maintained at all times during construction. Temporary facilities will be provided to allow for the minimal number of required outages on equipment designated "critical" by the facility and A/E.
