The City requires the cleaning and inspection of the eavestroughs and down spouts at the Eastview Landfill Building. 1. The City requires the following work to be completed at the Eastview Landfill Building: a. Cleaning of eavestroughs and down spouts; b. Minor repair(s) work (such as small leaks, caulking, etc.) to ensure the flow of water from the eavestroughs to the downspouts. c. Investigating eavestroughs and downspouts. Report major repair work to the Contract Administrator. 2. Due to the construction of the building the eavestroughs cannot be removed from the building. 3. The City prefers the downspouts are not removed from the building to complete the work. 4. A bucket truck will be required, at the cost of the Contractor, as roof access is not permitted. 5. If damage occurs during the work, the Contractor is responsible for the repairs. Costs to repair the damage shall be borne by the Contractor. 6. The building has the following measurements: a. South side - 122 feet b. East side - 265 feet c. West side - 265 feet d. The approximate length of all downspouts combined are 318 feet. 7. A drawing has been provided for reference down below along with additional pictures. Measurements provided are approximate, refer to Specification A.6 for actual measurements for pricing purposes. Question Deadline 08/14/2025 Administrative inquiries and requests for clarification of the Bid process shall be made to the Procurement Specialist in writing at purchasing@brandon.ca and must be received not less than five (5) calendar days prior to the date for closing of Bids. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Quotations, the City in its sole discretion may reject as non- compliant any Quotation which contains omissions, erasures; is ambiguous or unclear as to meaning or intent; is incomplete, illegible, conditional or contains a qualifier; contains any non-requested alterations or additions to the information provided by the City; is obviously unbalanced; or fails to comply sufficiently with the Instructions to Bidders. The City may, in its sole discretion, waive any and all defects, informalities, and accept any Quotation, as compliant, which it considers is in the best interest of the City of Brandon.
