Demolition and site work for a civil project in South Elgin, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes the removal of an existing 500,000-gallon elevated water storage tank and associated existing utilities, foundation removal, retaining wall removal, earthwork, and watermain. Est. Completion Date: Oct. 5, 2025 Pre-Qualification: Yes Sealed proposals for the Spring Street EWST Demolition Project located at 1296 W. Spring Street in South Elgin, IL shall be received South Elgin Public Works Department, 1000 Bowes Road, South Elgin, IL 60177 The project consists of removal of an elevated water storage tank with all associated foundation removals, erosion control, grading, restoration, and all other appurtenant work required to complete the project in accordance with the plans, specifications, and all other applicable standards. The Contractor shall make their own investigations and familiarize themselves as to the locations of all existing underground structures, cables, and pipelines. Prior to construction, the Contractor shall contact all utility companies and arrange for the location of any utilities they may have in the various areas. The WORK consists of the of removal an elevated water storage tank, foundation removals, erosion control, grading, restoration, and all other appurtenant work required to complete the project in accordance with the plans, specifications, and all other applicable standards.
