The work consists of installation of 12-, 16-, and 24-inch DR17 HPE recycled water and sewer force main pipelines and their associated appurtenances, including a trenchless crossing under SR-22, and a bridge crossing along College Park Drive. Begin Date: 11/01/2025 End Date: 11/01/2027 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Work includes at a minimum but not limited to the following: furnishing products, labor, tools, transportation, and services to install the following new infrastructure: 1. 12-inch DR17 HDPE recycled water pipeline hot tap connection at Atherton Street. 2. 24-inch DR17 HDPE recycled water pipelines. 3. 16-inch DR17 HDPE recycled water pipelines. 4. 12-inch DR11 HDPE sewer force main pipelines. 5. 8-inch CL52 epoxy lined and coated DIP sewer force main pipelines. 6. 16-inch welded steel pipe epoxy lined and epoxy coated pipe (WSP) supported by the College Park Drive bridge structure. 7. 8-inch epoxy lined and coated DIP within 16-inch welded steel casing supported by College Park Drive bridge structure. 8. Trenchless crossings under Caltrans SR22. 9. 12-inch DR 11 HDPE sewer force main pipeline within casing under Caltrans SR22. PRE-BID CONFERENCE: Prospective bidders are required to attend a two-part pre-bid conference with the Long Beach Public Utilities Department (LBUD) and LBUDs representatives. Part 1 will be an online meeting presentation of technical parameters at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 to present the scope of work to be performed under these specifications. Part 2 will be a site visit at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 to allow bidders to see the site conditions. Site visit location will be at the Haynes Generating Station located at: 6801 2nd St, Long Beach, CA 90803.
