Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Winfield, Alabama. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development; for site work for a water / sewer project; multi-residential development; and water / sewer project.

Pursuant to 41-4-133 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended, the Alabama Public Television (APT) requests qualifications from licensed Architects, Engineers, Professional firms, or joint ventures thereof to provide professional services for the APT Transmitter Building in Winfield, Alabama. This Agreement shall be awarded to one firm, and the services will be contracted under both fees and hourly rates per the Manual of Procedures for the Alabama Division of Construction Management. Proposed Scope of Work: The Scope of Work shall include but not be limited to the following: Building refurbishment to include but not be limited to New Roof, Side replacement, door replacement, concrete pad and wall work, new HVAC, new Plumbing, new restroom, new septic tank and field lines, and miscellaneous new electrical work. Existing structure is under 1,000 square feet. The term of the Agreement will be for two (2) years with an option to renew for two (2) additional years. The design services will be contracted under both fees and hourly rates in accordance with the Manual of Procedures of the State of Alabama Department of Finance, Real Property Management, Division of Construction Management (DCM). Recognizing the composition of Alabama's citizenship, the Alabama Public Television encourages submissions from engineering professionals that represent Alabama firms with diversity in their staffing and proposed project team, including but not limited to, associated design and engineering professionals and consultants. This request for qualifications is not an offer to contract but seeks the submission of qualifications from qualified, professional respondents that may form the basis for the negotiation of an agreement. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all qualifications and to solicit additional qualifications, through the RFQ process, if that is determined to be in the best interests of the State of Alabama. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
