Reference Number 0000395053 The University is in the process of converting the existing Williams Village district steam system to a low temperature district heating hot water (HHW) system at Williams Village. The steam system supplied eight (8) Residence Halls and one (1) Dining Hall in Williams Village. Phase One of these projects currently under construction is installing new underground piping across the recreational fields and into Weber Hall and Bear Creek Apartment Building. Phase II of the project will design and install new underground piping from the area between Weber Hall and Bear Creek Apartment Building along the existing sidewalk south to the bus loop where it will turn west along the existing sidewalk and run west into Village Center Dining. Once in Village Center Dining the project will run the piping into the mechanical room stopping at the tunnel entrance. The project will then remove all steam into the building and in the mechanical room convert all equipment and heating to low temperature hot water use.
