The University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder) seeks a qualified Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) for multiple renovation projects on campus that will be used by the Sundance Fillm Festival (SFF). Starting in January 2027, SFF is relocating to Boulder, Colorado and will be using facilities on the CU Boulder campus for portions of the festival. It is anticipated that two to three venues on campus will be utilized by SFF for film screenings and events. In preparation for these events, the university is working with SFF to make modifications to specific campus buildings to meet SFF's needs. Campus venues being considered for use by SFF include Macky Auditorium, Roe Green Theatre at the University Theatre building, Muenzinger E050, and Chemistry 140. The general scope of work is focused on audio/visual (AV) upgrades (including cable pathways, new electrical loads and structural modifications for to hang new AV systems) and may also include accessibility improvements, though the work will vary depending on specific location.
