Renovation of an educational facility in San Gabriel, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This is a Lease-leaseback project for Alhambra USD consisting of voluntary seismic upgrade to existing buildings G and VA. Scope includes replacement of HVAC equipment at Building E, replacement of plumbing and piping fixtures, replacement of interior light fixtures, finish upgrades, accessibility upgrades, fire alarm upgrades, new theatrical lighting system, theatrical rigging, and new stadium announcer s booth. The current Bid Package includes HVAC and Electrical Subcontractors Only. The balance of trades will be bid out at a later date. Per PCC 20111.6, all MEP subcontractors are required to be prequalified with Alhambra USD and must submit a prequalification questionnaire to the district ten (10) days prior to the bid opening, if not already prequalified. The prequalification questionnaire is available from the purchasing department via the Alhambra USD website at online. Questions regarding this bid/project are to: be directed to Ryan Shotwell 562-424-5567, ryan@2hconstruction.com Subcontractors must comply with general prevailing rates (PCC.1720 et seq.) and shall be registered with the DIR.CA.gov prior to submitting a bid (Labor Code 1725.5) Each BIDDER shall be a licensed contractor in the classification as required for the work to be performed at the time of bid submission and must maintain the licenses throughout the duration of the project.
