Demolition, site work, new construction and addition to a mixed-use development in Paducah, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for the addition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; warehouse / distribution facility; warehouse / distribution facility; and water / sewer project.
The work includes final connection to existing water, sanitary sewer, and electric utilities. The City of Georgetown, Kentucky is seeking bids for construction for Marshall Park Football Field Restroom and Storage Facility as listed in Exhibit A. Bids, once submitted,shall remain firm and open to acceptance by the City for a minimum period of ninety (90) calendar days. The City may request a letter from vendors granting an extension of the 90-day period. A certified check or "Bid Bond" in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price must be included with the bid response. If a certified check is supplied, it must be made payable to the "City of Georgetown, Kentucky" and mailed to the Georgetown City Clerk's office at 100 N. Court Street, Georgetown, KY 40324, prior to bid opening. Certified checks will be returned upon receipt of the "Performance Bond" and entering into a contract in accordance with specifications. In the event of failure to enter into a contract within the time period set forth in this bid, it is agreed that the certified check may be cashed and the funds retained by the City as liquidated damages. Checks of unsuccessful vendors will be returned when the bid has been awarded. If a "Bid Bond" is supplied, a copy may be uploaded to the portal to satisfy this requirement. The selected vendor shall provide a "Performance Bond," with sufficient surety satisfactory to the City, in an amount equal to the contract price. Insurance Requirements: The selected vendor covenants and agrees to maintain and keep in force during the term of the contract (to be awarded) insurance against claims for injuries to persons or damage to property which may arise from or in connection with the performance of the work hereunder and the results of that work by the selected vendor and their agents, representatives, employees, or subcontractors. With respect to General Liability, Errors & Omissions, Contractors Pollution Liability, and/or Asbestos Pollution Liability, coverage should be maintained for a minimum of five (5) years after contract completion. The award will be based upon the lowest responsive and responsible vendor offering the lowest Lump Sum Bid Price. The City of Georgetown reserves the right to consider as a part of the bid evaluation the stated warranty, stated delivery schedule, service, features, upgrades and payment terms. No Liability: The City is not liable for any expenses or costs incurred in connection with the preparation of bids. Question Deadline 08/20/2025 at 4:00 PM CT:All questions and requests for clarification or interpretation Failure of any vendor to receive any such supplementation or interpretation shall not relieve such vendor from any obligation under their bid as submitted. All posts so issued shall become part of the ITB and/or contract documents. All questions related to registration for online shall be directed to Karyn Leverenz at Karyn.Leverenz@georgetownky.gov. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive irregularities and/or minor immaterial defects in submitted bids when such waiver is determined by the City to be in its best interest. Minor exceptions to the specifications established herein shall be listed in detail on a separate sheet and attached to the bid. The City shall determine whether any exception is minor. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to award in whole or part,and to waive minor immaterial defects in bids. The City reserves the right to award contracts based on the best interest and/or most advantageous option for the City of Georgetown.
