Renovation of a residential development in Waterbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
A. The scope of this contract, known as General Renovations to 32 Sanford Street, Hartford, Connecticut. B. Verbal Summary of the Work: Without force and effect on the requirements of the Contract Documents, the work includes but is not limited to the following: Removal and replacement of all interior corner canopies over stairwells. Wrapping of all other canopies over unit entry doors with aluminum, infill of openings below canopy roofing and finish with perforated vinyl soffit material, infill gable ends of canopy roofs and finish with vinyl siding and round louver for ventilation. Replace miscellaneous deteriorated wood trims prior to new work. (Unit Price Work). Bids will be received for furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to construct, equip and finish the above project, in accordance with the documents. Last Day for Questions August 27, 2025. Berkeley Heights - Exterior Stair Canopy Repair & Replacement 5% Bid Security (Over $25K ONLY) and 100% Performance/Payment Bonds (Over $100K ONLY) are required. Bidders will note requirements of minimum wage rates, nondiscrimination/equal opportunity rules (Executive Order 11246) and related provisions in the General Conditions. No bid shall be withdrawn for sixty (60) days. Complete bidding requirements are noted in the Contract Documents. This project is federally assisted. Therefore, bidders must comply with the following requirements: Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968; Equal Opportunity provisions of Executive Order 11246; Non-Discrimination provision of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Labor Standards provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act and related acts and Contract Work Hours Standards Act; prevailing wage determinations as issued by the United States Department of Labor; and all applicable provisions under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974.
