This specification covers the requirements for furnishing large diameter storm drainage pipe for use by the Madison County Highway Department. The pipe shall be suitable for culvert or stormwater applications in rural settings under County roads and designed to provide a long service life and adequate hydraulic performance. To be publicly opened for furnishing the following supplies, materials and/or services. The right to accept any bid is reserved as it may be in the best interest of the County to reject or accept any and/or all bids, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bids. For bid protests, contact the Madison County Purchasing Office for a copy of Madison County's Bid Protest Procedures. GENERAL LICENSING ACT OF 1976, & ALSO KNOWN AS TENNESSEE HOUSE BILL NO: 2180 AND T.C.A. TITLE 62, CHAPTER 6 OF 1994. It is Required, That if Your Business is Located Within Madison County, You Have a Madison County Business License Before a Bid Can Be Awarded to You. The Madison County Highway Department reserves the right to select the most suitable product based on price, availability, performance, and compatibility with field conditions. Madison County Highway Department reserves the right to award this contract "in part" or "in whole." The County may award to more than one vendor or reject any or all bids. The contract term shall be 12 months, with Madison County Highway Department having the option to extend the contract for up to two additional 12 month periods by mutual agreement.
