Project Description: Work includes the removal of existing metal roof panels, including the asbestos underlayment and caulking, and the installation of new 26 gauge standing seam panels (Furnished by Owner). Contractor to include any support structures needed for installation such as Z furring, etc. Gutters and snow guards will be included. New roof will have a spray on insulated understructure of at least 2 inches throughout new roof interior area. All asbestos removal will be by a Certified Asbestos removal company. The Asbestos report from Hurt and Proffitt is included in the bid documents. Hurt and Proffitt will be monitoring the asbestos removals. A secured staging area will be provided for this project.
