Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Lynchburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
City of Lynchburg will be replacing the rear concrete apron at fire station #5, work includes the removal of the existing concrete apron and related sanitary and storm lines. A new concrete apron will be installed according to the drawings from Virginia A&E Architects dated 7/31/2024. New sanitary, storm and trench drains will be installed as noted on the drawings. The fire station will remain operable during this construction, so care will be taken as to not prohibit daily functions of the station. All windows adjacent to the construction will need to be protected from flying debris. All requests for clarification of or questions regarding this Advertisement for Bids or for additional information must be made in writing to Will Ruberry at william.ruberry@lynchburgva.gov and received by 3:00 PM, September 9, 2025. All addenda should be signed and accompany any bid submitted.
