Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project limits include the entire length of Watervliet Avenue, and a partial length of Albany Avenue between Riverdale Road to a point approximately 20 LF past the intersection with Riverview Road. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: reconstruction of storm inlets with new castings; removal of existing curbs and installation of new Portland cement concrete curbs; removal and replacement of all ADA curb ramps; removal and replacement of existing driveway aprons where required; asphalt milling and road resurfacing; replacement of traffic control signs; and, traffic striping. The main items of construction and approximate quantities include, but is not limited to: 6,600 square yards of asphalt milling; 1,000 tons of hot mixed asphalt surface course, two (2") inches thick, mix 9.5 M64; 3,300 linear feet of concrete curbs; 500 square yards of concrete sidewalk, 4" thick; 420 square yards of concrete sidewalk & driveway aprons, 6" thick with reinforcing; reconstruction of six (6) inlets with precast catch basin and heavy duty castings; six (6) new Type-B inlets; and, eight (8) traffic-rated seepage pits. One (1) copy of the Bid Packages is on file at the office of the Municipal Clerk, located at 25 Lenox Avenue, Pompton Lakes, NJ 07442 Each bid shall be accompanied by a Guarantee in an amount of the lesser of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price or Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00), in the form of a certified check or cashier's check payable to the Borough or a Bid Bond issued by a Surety authorized to transact business in New Jersey and found acceptable by the Borough. Each bid must also be accompanied by the consent of a similarly acceptable Surety, guaranteeing a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Labor and Material Payment Bond will be furnished upon award of the Contract. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, deviations or omissions in any or all bids, and to accept such bids and make awards as may be most advantageous to the Borough.
