The project is for the construction of a new running track, bleachers, and press box at Hershfield Park. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project name. Each bid must include a certified check or bid bond amounting to ten percent of the bid, not exceeding $20,000. All bidders and their subcontractors are required to register with the New Jersey Department of Labor under the Public Works Contractor Registration Act. Bidders and subcontractors must provide a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate. Bidders must comply with the Law Against Discrimination and Affirmative Action requirements. Eligibility to submit a bid requires classification by NJDPMC and NJSDA in specific disciplines (C008 General Construction or C009 General Construction/Alterations & Additions). Bidders must not be on any debarred or suspended lists. All bids must use and complete all bid forms and comply with the instructions and specifications provided. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive to the requirements. The Pompton Lakes Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities if in the best interest of the Board of Education.
