Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Gunnison, Colorado. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Project will restore access to National Forest System Road (NFSR) 261 to accommodate highway loading vehicles with 85,000-pound vehicle configurations, utilizing AASHTO LRFD RL-93 loadings.
