Remodeling of a municipal facility in Gunnison, Colorado. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.
Gunnison County is seeking bids for replacement of carpet, VCT, and stair treads in the Blackstock Government Building located at 221 N. Wisconsin Street. The building is about 26,200 square feet with approximately 24,250 square feet of carpeting. VCT exists in various locations that total approx. 300 sq.ft. Two main stairs that extend to the basement and up to the second floor from the main floor have vinyl treads and riser which require replacement. The existing carpeting is 2'x2' carpet tiles. The County desires to replace the existing carpet with high quality carpet tiles. Bidders must measure the spaces and calculate necessary quantities no quantities or measurements will be provided by the owner or representatives of the owner. Bidders must schedule a site visit with the Facilities manager in order to measure quantities, inspect spaces and note any existing conditions that add cost or must be repaired prior to new carpet installation. Please provide an allowance for carpet and VCT materials that meet the following specifications: -ASTM D5252 Wear Rating: Heavy (TARR <3.0) -Green Label Plus -Minimum 25% recycled content -100% commercial grade nylon type 6 or 6,6 -100% solution dye -Adhesive: VOC < 50 g/L
