Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Johnston, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Pavement removal and replacement including but not limited to, removal of HMA pavement and concrete beam curb and replacement with PCC paving. This project is exempt from Iowa Sales Tax. Davis Bacon Wages will not apply to this project, however the Build America Buy America Act will apply to this work. Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Form and shall be accompanied by Bid Security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond executed by corporations authorized to contract as surety in Iowa. Bidders must comply with all affirmative action/equal employment opportunity provisions of the State of Iowa and the Federal Government. The Iowa Department of Public Defense, Iowa Army National Guard, seeks to provide opportunities for Targeted Small Businesses in accordance with the provisions of The Iowa Department of Public Defense reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive irregularities and to accept a bid that is deemed in the best interest of the State of Iowa and the IANG.
