Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Medway, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a 79,000-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
This Cm at Risk Services Procurement is Conducted Pursuant to M.g.l. Chapter 149a, Contained in Chapter 193 of the Acts of 2004. This Request for Qualifications ("rfq") is the First Phase of a Two-phase Procurement Process as Set Forth in Mgl Chapter 149a. The Medway Municipal Complex Building Committee is Prequalifying Firms Interested in Providing Public Cm at Risk Services for the Project Through This Rfq Process. The Submitted Statement of Qualifications ("soq's") Will Be Evaluated Based Upon the Identified Evaluation Criteria and the Prequalification Committee Will Select Those Respondents It Deems Qualified. The Medway Municipal Complex Building Committee Expects the Review of the Soq's to Be Complete and the Issuance of the Rfp to Occur Mid-january 2026. Firms Interested in Being Prequalified Must Demonstrate That They Have Prior Experience as a Cm. the Town Desires to Design and Construct a New Public Safety (Police and Fire) and Town Hall Complex Located at 120 Main St., Medway (8+ Acres), Site of the Former Medway Block. It is Expected That the Project Will Be Built Upon and Around a Concept Plan That Will Provide for Appropriate Space for a Police Department, Fire Department, Police/fire Dispatch Department, and a Town Hall. The Solution Will Consist of Construction of an Approximate 79,000 Gsf Building Complex. The Sitework Consists of All New Stormwater Drainage, New Utilities, New Parking Lots, New Vehicular Paths, New Landscaping, Etc. The Estimated Construction Duration is 24-months. The Estimated Construction Cost of the Project is Seventy-three Million Dollars ($73,000,000.00). Certain Trade Construction Work Will Be Procured Using Procedures Similar to the M.g.l. Chapter 149 Filed Sub-bid Laws After a Prequalification Process. This Procedure is Specified in Chapter 193 of the Acts of 2004 in the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149a.
