The Beaverton School District will receive Bids for ITB 25- 0002 for the provision of a General Contractor (GC) to furnish, install, manage, and coordinate the work to replace a wheelchair lift at Aloha High School. All questions and comments about this solicitation must be directed ONLY IN WRITING to: contracts@beaverton.k12.or.us The General Scope of this Project is to retain a General Contractor (GC) to provide all labor, tools and materials for replacing the wheelchair lift at Aloha High School. The Work is described in more detail in the Statement of Work and in the Exhibits to this ITB (e.g., Drawings, Specifications, etc.). Deadline for submitting requests for clarification, change, substitution, or solicitation protest September 2, 2025 Noon PST It is intended that the Contractor provide a complete project and coordinate work with the District, Contractors and Consultants hired by the BSD, and all applicable agencies having authority, including PGE and all applicable agencies having authority. a. Work must adhere to and follow the exhibits included in this Solicitation and listed below: 1. Architectural / Mechanical drawings, Project No. 25-019, June 2025 for Project Requirements by Solarc Architecture, Inc. 2. Pre-demolition Asbestos Survey conducted in May 2025 by PBS Engineering and Environmental LLC, Project No. BEA031-0418019-250072353 b. A limited asbestos survey is included for the area where work will be performed. The District will provide all abatement services if asbestos is present. If at any time during construction the potential of asbestos containing material is found, work must stop, and the District Representative must notified without delay. c. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, permits and other facilities and services as necessary and/or required to execute all Work, as follows: 1. Remove the existing lift and dispose of off-site. Electrical path to remain. 2. Furnish and install new multi-stop platform wheelchair lift with integrated handrail per referenced drawings. Wheelchair lift submittals must be approved prior to purchase. 3. Confirm all lift parts necessary for project completion are received during delivery. 4. Install manufacturer's support posts per all applicable codes and District standards to full working operation, per attached mechanical drawings and specifications. d. All work must comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding asbestos handling, notification, and disposal. Building Codes to include, but not limited to, compliance with ADA 2010
