The purpose of this ITB is to establish one or more contracts for pavement maintenance services on asphalt and other pavement substrates ("Work") on an as-needed basis, including emergency response. All questions in regards to this Sourcing Event must be submitted through electronically. As the ashpalt/paving sector evolves, the integration of sustainability and responsible business practices has become a critical expectation. This ITB mandates adherence to environmental requirements derived from national best practices for sustainable paving. Proposers are encouraged to showcase their commitment to sustainability through: Demonstrated experience with environmentally friendly paving materials and techniques. Proactive strategies for minimizing environmental impact during all phases of repair operations. Innovation in reducing carbon footprint, conserving resources, and promoting a circular economy within pavement repair projects. Fixed term. The contract term shall be for a maximum of five (5) years. A Bid Bond will not be required for this solicitation. Performance and payment bonds will be required for this contract. CONTRACT AWARD As a result of this sourcing event process, Multnomah County intends to award multiple contracts to the lowest bidders who meet minimum requirements. There is no guarantee for specific items to be needed over the life of the contract. The awards will be made on the lowest prices provided for the Sample Project Total.
