Scope The project scope includes but is not limited to: Acquire any necessary permits Install traffic control Mobilize and prepare site Remove existing concrete roadway on Dayton Street Shape, compact and proof roll existing base on Dayton Street Mix cement treatment (If required) on Dayton Street Construct new reinforced concrete pavement and asphalt overlays on Dayton Street Mix, shape and compact existing asphalt streets Mix cement treatment (If required) on asphalt streets Install prime coat and new HMAC Backfill pavement edges Clean up site . A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for contracts greater than $100, 000,]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of West Orange or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond.
