The City of Palm Desert, ("City") invites and will receive sealed Bids for the furnishing of all labor, equipment, materials, tools, services, transportation, permits, utilities, and all other items necessary for Palm Desert Aquatic Center Pump Room Renovation. pooil The City is requesting proposals for the renovation of the pump room at the Palm Desert Aquatic Center, located at 73751 Magnesia Falls Drive, Palm Desert, CA 92260. The City desires to select a qualified firm as a partner that emphasizes experience and professional qualification, in addition to safety and efficiency in performing the requested work. The City hereby requests Proposers to demonstrate their ability to provide construction services for this renovation project which includes the removal and replacement of three industrial filtration tanks, removal of five and replacement of four heaters, and replacement of various pumps and plumbing fixtures. Pump room equipment will be purchased by the City. There will be minimal plumbing and electrical materials provided by the contractor for installation. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. Each bond shall be in the forms set forth herein, shall be secured from a surety company that meets all State of California bonding requirements, as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, and that is a California admitted surety insurer.
