The Successful Proposer shall execute the attached Contract Services Agreement and provide the required insurance documents per the Agreement, within fifteen (15) business days after Notice of Award. The Successful Proposer shall provide payment and performance bonds in a sum no less than 100% of the contract price within fifteen (15) business days after Notice of Award. The Coachella Valley Water District (CVWD) is requesting proposals for the replacement of Halon 1301 Fire Suppression Systems with Waterless Clean Agent Fire Suppression systems suitable for sensitive electronic data equipment. This project focuses on the conceptual plans and installation of these systems across various CVWD facilities. CVWD's fire alarm systems are self-monitored by CVWD's central control room, which is staffed twenty-four-hour-seven-days-a-week. All fire systems report Trouble, Supervisory and Alarm signals to PLC's which relay information to CVWD's central control room SCADA. CVWD will provide services to assist with installation, demolition, room sealing, drywall work, 120VAC electrical service, and interfacing to existing FACU's, HVAC units, and SCADA The Successful Respondent will be required to provide the expertise, equipment, materials, and labor to complete the following services: A. Halon Systems replacement with Clean Agent Suppression Systems at three (3) facilities and a FACU at one (1) facility. Respondents shall participate in a mandatory pre-bid site visit to gather needed information, dimensions, and visual aids needed to produce an RFP response. Clean agent system shall be suitable for electronic data center systems equipment protection. Proposal shall include proper handling and disposal of Halon 1301.
