As of October 15, 2025, a general contractor has been awarded. Construction is anticipated to begin in early January, with an estimated duration of 175 calendar days—approximately six months. Repave the existing roadway to improve the resiliency of our infrastructure. Replace and upgrade signs and pavement markings to meet current standards and increase reflectivity. Restripe the road to provide four-foot wide bike lanes to accommodate cyclists who wish to use the roadway. Install green striping on bike lanes adjacent to turn lanes to increase safety for cyclists. Upgrade pedestrian curb ramps to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Replace the pedestrian signals at the Hagen Ranch Road intersection with countdown pedestrian signals, (which show the number of seconds left to cross the street) to improve safety for pedestrians. As of August 18, 2025, this project is included in the State's 2025 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
