Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The proposed Work includes the renovation of several interior and exterior areas in the Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market building located at 665 George Street, Fredericton, New Brunswick, for accessibility and energy upgrades. The work will take place in the original 1951 Building, 1991s Addition, and the enclosed Annex on the East side. The areas of work are as follows: 1. Accessibility Upgrades: a) Washroom Renovations and reconfigurations of the lobby and central washrooms from 10 total water closet/urinal fixtures to 13. This work includes the replacement of washroom floor slabs and partial lobby floor slab replacement, as well as the relocation of janitor room plumbing elsewhere in the building. b) Entry Doors in the original building and addition will be widened with new column door openers added, and the exterior path of travel at those doors will be improved. This will include a new concrete ramp with custom railing at the front George St. Entrance and new vestibule at the back entrance in the original building. c) Stage Removal & Concrete Floor refinishing - The stage will be removed in the Addition, and the central floor in the Addition will be stripped, strengthened, and polished. (approx 342 m2, 3700 SF). 2. Lighting Retrofit - Lighting will be replaced and standardized in both the original building and Addition. This includes High bay lighting in the Addition, vendor lighting, and additional recirculating fans. 3. Exterior Envelope Upgrades including East storage area security fencing - Replacement of exterior insulation and cladding, including 2 new bollards. 4. Roof Replacement - Replacement of existing membrane roof on original building and Annex with standing seam metal roofing in coordination with Solar PV roof array installation. Repair of the existing cupola is also included. 5. Solar PV roof array on roof of original building. To be mounted with a clip system. Deadline to Submit Questions: August 7, 2025
