Reference Number 0000300786 Scope of Work: Project includes the design, construction, and delivery of new Ready-To-Move classrooms to be installed on Manitoba Public Schools property. These classrooms are intended to be in place for a minimum of 3 years up to 10 years. It is imperative that classrooms are delivered to site within 4 months or less upon finalization of order. Building Description (Code Analysis): Interior Classroom Area: Approximately 800 sq ft (75 sq. m) each classroom with dimensions approximately 25' x 32' (7.62 m x 9.75 m). Major Occupancy: Group A Division 2 Building Classification: 3.2.2.28 1 Storey, facing 1 street Permitted Area = 400 sq meters Combustible construction permitted, non-combustible cladding required Exterior walls to have 45 min FRR Sprinkler System is not required. Roof Assemblies & Load Bearing Elements = Fire rating not required No Mezzanine & No Basement Floor assemblies over crawlspace need not be rated. Occupant Load: 25 students + 2 staff = 27 per classroom Exits: Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
