Reference Number 0000300929 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/09/09 04:00:00 PM CDT Pricing Lump sum Work of the Project, of which Work of this Contract is a part, comprises the following: .1 Demolition and upgrades to the following for the 1974 & 1978 portions of Shamrock School: .1 Exterior wall upgrades of the entire school. .2 Window replacement and additional windows to increase ratio in classrooms to approximately 40% of their interior wall area. .3 At the locations of the new windows, the existing load bearing block, interior building paper, batt insulation in the stud cavity wood studs, and asbestos containing drywall is to be removed to accommodate new windows. .4 Structural steel to create new openings for new windows in the existing loadbearing exterior walls. .5 Modifications to interior aspects of the school affected by exterior improvements including: perimeter millwork, adjacent flooring, wall and ceiling finishes. .6 New wall to roof parapet interface and minimum 24” roof tie-ins with the existing roof. .7 New doors and operators at entrances. .8 New waterproofing, insulation, drain board, cement board and parging for existing perimeter grade beam walls. .9 New weeping tile for perimeter grade beam, complete with solid leads to new sump pits and pumps. .10 Structural underpinning as a result of the increased wall loads. .11 New structural steel for the exterior walls to accommodate new cladding. .12 New exterior concrete pads at all entries. .13 New lighting for the exterior of the school. .14 New through-wall extensions for existing louvres for ventilation units. .15 Removal and reinstallation of new mechanical radiators and electrical on the interior to accommodate exterior improvements. .16 Re-landscaping of affected School Area as a result of upgrades.
