Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Quincy, Florida. Design plans call for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of August 20, 2025, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Design is expected to be completed in spring 2026. It is anticipated bidding will commence in July 2026. Construction projected to start in winter 2026, with a 2 year duration. Design firm information has not been determined. The intent of this project is to resurface all existing travel lanes, auxiliary lanes, and paved shoulders. Additional improvements include: • Adding sidewalk from North Malcolm Street to west of Quincy Creek on the north side of SR 10 (US 90). • Replacing the retaining wall at the northwest corner of North Malcolm Street. • Upgrading pedestrian features to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act improvements. • Adding corridor lighting. • Updating signing and pavement markings.
