The East Union Township will receive bids for the 2025 Multi Modal Project The Township reserves the right to reject any Bids or waive any irregularities. Alternate Stone Roads -Work to be in accordance with PennDOT 408 and PennDOT publication 447 - FB Modified Overlay.Apply an AE-P Prime Coat to the existing stone to provide a suitable surface to them place 3 1/2inch depth FB Modified Overlay applied in two lifts, the first lift will be 1 1/2inch and 2nd lift will be 2 inches. After one month install a double chip seal to all FB Modified surfaces. This work must be completed by October 1 or completed in 2026. A minimum of 8000 SY in total will be awarded for this alternate. The amount of SY will be determined based on funds available after the bids are reviewed. The final quantity will be negotiated with the low bidder for the alternate.
