Renovation of a mixed-use development in Reading, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and parking garage.
The Work generally consists of furnishing a design and the installation, including all equipment, labor and materials, for a roof mounted solar panel project on the existing municipal buildings (administration building, garage, garage annex) at 35 Ontelaunee Drive being 204.185 kW in size or greater. The work is more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The project is subject to Prevailing Wage requirements. Bids may be held by the OWNER for a period not to exceed sixty (60) calendar days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing bid sand investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract. Ontelaunee Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or portions there of ,and to accept any Bid, or portion of Bid, and the right to waive any immaterial defects in the bidding process, which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township. Ontelaunee Township and their representatives are not responsible for bids mailed but not received. All BIDS shall be sealed and marked as identified in the project documents
