Sealed bid proposals will be accepted from qualified contractors by Flushing Community Schools for 2024 Bond Phase 2 - ECC Restroom Reno, Generator & WIC and HVAC and Door remodeling. The Project will utilize separate prime contractors. All contracts for construction will be direct contracts with the Owner. Overall administration of the Project will be the responsibility of the Construction Management Firm, Wolgast Corporation. The Owner will award contracts on or about Wednesday, September 17, 2025, to separate prime contractors for separate bid divisions or combinations of bid divisions. All bids shall be submitted on the bid forms provided in the project specifications, filled in completely and executed (copies of the bid forms are acceptable). Facsimile bids will not be accepted. Question Deadline 08/28/2025 The Contractor shall forward the Clarification Request form, via fax or email, to the Construction Manager no later than 5 days prior to bid due date. All questions regarding the bidding procedures, design, and drawing/specification intent are to be directed to the Construction Manager on a Clarification Request Form (Section 00310), attention Derek Rickett, drickett@wolgast.com and Lisa Donahue at ldonahue@wolgast.com. A Bid Security by a qualified surety authorized to do business in the state where the Project is located and in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid shall accompany each proposal or proposal combination. The Bid Security may be in the form of a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check, or Money Order. Personal checks are NOT acceptable. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid date.
