Proposals shall be prepared to simply and economically, provide a straightforward, concise description of the Proposer's ability to meet the requirements of this RFP. Emphasis shall be on the quality, completeness, clarity of content, responsiveness to the requirements, and an understanding of City's objectives. This request for proposals is for professional citywide tree maintenance services in the City of Bell Gardens. These specifications are intended to cover all labor, material, and standards of architectural, landscaping, and mechanical workmanship to be employed in the work called for or reasonably implied by terms of same. Work or arterials of a minor nature which may not be specifically mentioned, but which may reasonably be assumed as necessary for the completion of this work, shall be performed by the Contractor as if described in the specifications. Contractor shall conform and follow the Western Chapter International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) best management practices. Postmarks by this date are unacceptable and no facsimiles will be accepted.
