Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Carthage, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Project consists of approximately 11,600 feet of cured in place pipe sewer rehabilitation, of which approximately 9,750 feet is 8-inch,and 1,850 feet is 10-inch; replacing approximately 3,100 feet of existing 8-inch sewer by open-trench replacement; rehabilitation of approximately 120 vertical footage of manholes utilizing epoxy lining; replacement of approximately 15 manholes; reinstatement of approximately 220 service laterals by open cut means; installation of approximately 6,200 feet of 6-inch PVC service lateral pipe; and the restoration of sidewalks, curbs, curbs and gutters, and driveways impacted during construction. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to the Contract Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee and listed as a certified company in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of five percent of the Bid. Davis-Bacon Act and American Iron and Steel Requirements This project is being funded by a State Revolving Fund loan on or after 2014 EPA Fiscal Year. The loan recipient must be in compliance with all applicable Davis-Bacon Act and American Iron and Steel requirements. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) Requirements Any contract or contracts awarded by the Owner through this advertisement for bids will be funded by a State Revolving Fund (SRF) loan from the State of Tennessee. State and Federal funds will be involved in this Project and, as a result, Bidders must comply with the SRF Loan Program's Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) requirements, including contacting a minimum of 10 qualified DBE sub-contractors, professional service providers, vendors, and/or suppliers by certified mail to solicit bids. The apparent successful Bidder must submit to the Owner copies of the certified letters and return receipts prior to Contract award. Neither the State of Tennessee nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees is or will be a party to this Invitation for Bids or any resulting contract(s) awarded by the Owner.
