The Work for which proposals are to be received consists of asphalt milling, asphalt resurface, subgrade patching, crack sealing, and pavement markings for various airport roadways and parking lots. The Gary/Chicago International Airport Authority , in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders or offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprise will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Gary/Chicago International Airport Authority , or a satisfactory bid bond, executed by the Bidder and an approved surety company in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid proposal.
