Site work and paving for a civil project in Newton, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Project No. 10815.001.000 The project generally consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following major items: Replacement of 1,000 linear feet of 2-inch galvanized steel main with 340 linear feet 4-inch PVC C-900; Installation of new water service lines and appurtenances; Installation of new flow meters at two wells and replacement of a check valve at Well House #2; Abandonment of the existing water main in place. Restoration of public right-of-way and private landscaping to pre-construction conditions or better. This work includes the furnishing and installation of equipment, materials and related appurtenances in the following trades: piping, concrete, landscaping, paving and other related trades. The work will be done under a single contract. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Bid Bond payable to Noxon Water District, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS shall furnish an approved Construction Performance Bond and a Construction (Labor and Materials) Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
