Site work for a civil project in Norway, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Town of Norway WWTP - Furnish all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for the removal of existing floating aerators and installation of new floating aerators. Bragg Street Pump Station - Furnish all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for the removal of two (2) existing submersible grinder pumps, existing valves and piping, and existing pump control panel and replacement of these items with two (2) new submersible grinder pumps, new valves and piping, new pump control panel, and all other necessary appurtenances and related work, including temporary bypass pumping during construction, as specified and depicted in the Contract Documents. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of the OWNER, negotiable U. S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable Surety in an amount equal to five percent ( 5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The low bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the bid amount. All Bonds shall be in the form prescribed by the Contract Documents except as provided otherwise by Laws or Regulations, and shall be executed by such sureties as are named in the current list of Companies Holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds and as Acceptable Reinsuring Companies, as published in Circular 570 (amended) by the Audit Staff, Bureau of Government Financial Operations, U.S. Treasury Department. All Bonds signed by an agent must be accompanied by a certified copy of such agent's authority to act for the surety at the time of the signing of the bond. OWNER reserves the right to reject any and/or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the Bidding. Bids may be held by the OWNER for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
