Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in New Canaan, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
This Request for Bid was prepared to solicit Bids from qualified responsible contractors to provide construction services for the installation of a new cold storage building in New Canaan Connecticut. The site is located at the Highway Department at 394 Main St, New Canaan, CT 06840 No contractor may withdraw his Bid within 90 days after the actual date of the Bid opening. Additionally, the contract documents require the prompt commencement of the work. All contractors are requested to note that the award of this Contract is subject to the following conditions and contingencies: 1) The approval of such governmental agencies as may be required by law. 2) The appropriation of adequate funds by the proper agencies. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or any part thereof, to waive defects in the same, or to accept any Bid or any part thereof deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of New Canaan, Connecticut.
