Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the form of a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Letter of Credit payable to the Hancock County Commissioners, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid or a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. A Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) on the contract price will be required as part of the contract. SPECIAL ATTENTION MUST BE GIVEN to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis Bacon Wages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a payment and performance bond for 100% of the contract price.
