The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. Operations Building Training Center Addition, Proposed covered walk way and Renovations 2. Maintenance Building Addition 3. Fuel Tank relocation and Proposed Canopy 4. Graff Hall Addition and Alterations 5. Eibling Hall Alterations 6. Angus Administration Building Addition and Alterations 7. Early Childhood Center Alterations 8. School Age Building Alterations Blanchard Valley Center Improvements Q & A Deadline 09/18/2025 02:00 PM EDT All Requests for Information to be submitted online. Prices quoted in Base Proposals shall be guaranteed for a period of thirty (30) days after date of proposal. Should a bidder find any discrepancies or omissions in any of the documents, or be in doubt as to their meaning, a request for clarification shall be submitted in writing via the online portal. Addenda will be issued via the online portal. Bids will be received for the following construction: General Construction (Including all Trades) Bids must contain the names of every person interested therein and be accompanied by either: 1.A Bid Guaranty and Performance Bond in the full amount of the bid tendered as guarantee that the Bidder will, if the award is made to the Bidder, enter into a proper contract with the Owner for the project. 2.A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid tendered as guarantee that the Bidder will, if the award is made to the Bidder, enter into a proper contract with the Owner and thereafter furnish a Performance bond for the amount of the contract at the time that the Bidder executes the contract. All such bonds, certified checks, cashiers checks and letters of credit shall be payable to the "Hancock County Board of Developmental Disabilities". Bids must also contain an executed Affidavit of Personal Property Tax, and Certificate of Non-Discrimination Policy. No bid shall be considered unless made on the forms provided by the Owner and in accordance with the contract documents, which consist of all advertisements and notices, the instructions to bidders, specifications and drawings and bid form, all of which are available and may be obtained as hereinabove set forth. The Owner intends to accept the lowest responsible bid or bids for the projects but reserves the right to reject any and all, or parts of any or all bids and to waive minor informalities in any bid, or to make the award in the best interest of the Owner. Bidders are hereby notified that the bids will be rejected if the Base Bid amount exceeds the architect's estimate by more than ten (10) percent. Materials purchased for use of consumption in connection with the proposed work will be exempt from the State of Ohio Sales Tax. Bids shall be based on Prevailing Wage Rates of the State of Ohio. Maintenance Building Addition 3. Fuel Tank relocation and Proposed Canopy 4. Graff Hall Addition and Alterations 5. Eibling Hall Alterations 6. Angus Administration Building Addition and Alterations 7. Early Childhood Center Alterations 8. School Age Building Alterations On site work for the Early Childhood Building and the School Age Building to be started and completed during Summer break 2026. Dates to be determined.
