This project includes repair of erosion, removal of washed in and deposited material, relining of the channel with rock and restoration of the area to an approximation of the original state. This primary bid work will be focused on the drainage channel to the North of the main entrance to the Hillsboro Campus. There is an alternate bid requested for the same type of work on the smaller drainage area to the North of the bridge/track entrance road. Scope includes repair of erosion (using existing material to the greatest extent possible) to establish or return to an approximate 3:1 slope, removal of washed in and deposited material as needed, relining of the channel with rock (12-24 inch) and restoration of the area to an approximation of the original state. This primary bid work will be focused on the drainage channel to the North of the main entrance to the Hillsboro Campus. See photos for location and site details. Each bid shall include a five percent (5%) bid security in the form of a bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved Surety Company. The Owner reservesthe right to award the contract to the lowest responsible contractor and to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informality on all proposals. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. All contractors must provide a sworn affidavit affirming participation on a federal work authorization program and stating that the contractor does not knowingly employ any person who is not authorized to work in the U.S. The contractor must comply with current Prevailing Wage laws and other statutory regulations as referenced to in the specifications. This project is tax exempt. Proposal award will be made on or about October 13, 2025
