Reference Number 0000396556 Bid Intent Not Available Purchase Type One Time Only- Delivery Date:04/03/2026 Working in collaboration with the Town of Telluride and San Miguel County, the Town of Mountain Village, Colorado (the "Town"), is soliciting Requests for Proposals from qualified professional firms to assist in the identification of suitable land, assessment of community recreation needs, and consultation on the construction of a recreation center to serve the Telluride region. Currently, the Telluride region does not have a designated recreation center, and there is no clear, pre-determined location for its construction. The Town is seeking expertise from firms with a proven track record in site identification, recreational facility planning, and community engagement to determine the best course of action for this project. Scope of Work The selected firm will provide the following services: 1. Land Identification: Evaluate potential sites for size, accessibility, zoning, and infrastructure. Recommend top viable locations for the recreation center. 2. Community Engagement & Needs Assessment: Conduct public outreach to gather input from residents and stakeholders. Analyze current and future recreational demands and recommend suitable amenities. 3. Conceptual Design & Feasibility Study: Develop preliminary design concepts and a feasibility study with cost estimates and a project timeline. 4. Recommendations & Final Report: Present a comprehensive report with site recommendations, needs assessment findings, and feasibility study results.
