MWBE and SDVBE Participation Programs: The Osceola County Board of County Commissioners has established a Minority and Woman-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) Program with a combined 25% participation goal for LSBE and MWBE contractors and subcontractors. The purpose of this program is to promote and encourage the participation of MWBE as Contractor or Subcontractor on County awards. A Bid/Performance Bond is not required for this project. Scope- PE OF SERVICES. Intent: The COUNTY seeks a qualified contractor to provide HVAC system modifications and to integrate UV-C air purification technology at the Poinciana Branch Library, located at 101 North Doverplum Avenue, Kissimmee, Florida 34758. The Scope and layout to be confirmed through on-site assessment prior to work commencement. The successful CONTRACTOR shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, materials, permitting, testing, and commissioning required to complete the work in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Ductwork Reconstruction: a) Reconfigure and replace ductwork associated with the existing Air Handling Unit (AHU) to optimize airflow and system efficiency. E3. UV-C Lighting System Installation: a) Lamp Placement i. Install UV-C lamps near the evaporator coil and drain pan within the AHU. b) Electrical and Controls i. Provide a dedicated power source including conduits and circuit protection ii. Integrate system controls with the Carrier AHU control panel for continuous monitoring and alerts. c) Safety compliance i. Install shielding and hazard signage at all UV lamp locations. ii. Ensure compliance with OSHA, ASHRAE, and manufacturer specifications. d) Commissiong & Verification. i.
