The Port of Palm Beach District (Port) is advertising an Invitation to Bid from licensed, qualified and experienced firms to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the replacement and repair of components within the Port's water distribution system. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of existing piping, valves, fittings, and appurtenances; leak repairs; pressure testing; disinfection; and coordination with Port operations to minimize disruption to ongoing activities. The Board has set a voluntary goal of 12% M/WBE participation in Port business. In order to qualify as a Minority/Woman Business Enterprise, the firm must be certified by any certifying governmental entity in Palm Beach County.
