The Cartway Bridge Replacement Project shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the bridge replacement, watermain, storm sewer, street construction, and appurtenant work as shown on the Plans and specified herein. A temporary paved roadway will be utilized to re-open Cartway Rd to traffic in the winter of 2026 without concrete work. The temporary roadway can be hot mix, cold patch, or temporary concrete at the discretion of the Engineer depending on material availability. The Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the paved roadway to the standards of the City at no additional cost. The temporary roadway will be removed prior to concrete work and final paving in the spring of 2026 at no additional cost.
