The City of Douglas, Wyoming is seeking Statements of Qualifications to provide contract professional Street Tree Trimming and Removal Services for the City of Douglas. Interested and qualified individuals or firms are invited to submit a proposal outlining their qualifications. Proposals for "RFQ City of Douglas Street Tree Hazard Mitigation" will be accepted. If you have questions contact Public Works at 307-358-9750. It is anticipated the City will review the Proposals and enter into an Agreement with the selected firm by September 22, 2025. SCOPE OF WORK o The selected firm will provide professional tree trimming and tree removal services for all assigned work. All services and planning shall conform to the "Standards of Workmanship Required" by the City of Douglas. o The selected firm will be required to provide door hangars to all effected residents along the street where work will take place. A minimum of 1 week notice will be required. o Closure of the effected street where tree work will be taking place will be allowed. Contractor to provide all necessary traffic control and "road closed" barriers. o The selected firm must provide a schedule of proposed work areas and timelines updated as needed. o The firm selected will work closely with the Public Works Department in the completion of this task set. A map and list of 100-150 priority hazard mitigation trees will be provided by the Parks Department. o All stumps are to be ground to a minimum 4 inches below existing grade and backfilled to grade with topsoil. Line locates as required will be the contractors responsibility. o Coordination with WYDOT, CCSD#1 Transportation, and City of Douglas Streets and Alleys Dept will be the responsibility of the selected firm. o The intent of the Proposal is to provide the City with contract Hazardous Mitigation Tree Trimming/Removal Services in the City of Douglas.
