All Three Pools Are to Be Repaired and Upgraded in Accordance With the Plans Furnished by Integrated Aquatics Engineering Inc Entitled replastering of the Existing Activity Pool; Borough of Chester 50 North Street; 137 North St., Chester, Nj 07930, Morris County" the Contractor Shall Furnish All Labor, Equipment, Materials and Means Required to Construct Various Improvements as Depicted in the Contract Documents for the Main Pool, Wading Pool, and Activity Pool. The Main Pool Layout Consists of a Large Rectangle (150'x60') With Depths Running From 3.5' to 6'. Stairs Run the Length of the Shallow End. The Deep End Sticks Out a Little (15'x45') to Accommodate a Six (6) Lane 25-yard (75'-1') Competition Area. The Total Surface Area is Approximately 9,944 Square Feet With a Perimeter of Approximately 460 Linear Feet. This is Capped With Bullnosed Coping Over Standard Waterline Tile With the Water Line About 4-1/2" Below the Deck. The Calculated Volume is Approximately 352,000 Gallons. The Wading Pool is a 20' Diameter Circle, 12" Depth. The Total Surface Area is Approximately 314 Square Feet With a Perimeter of Approximately 63 Linear Feet. This is Capped With Bullnosed Coping Over Standard Waterline Tile With the Water Line About 4-1/2" Below the Deck. The Calculated Volume is Approximately 2,400-gallon Volume. The Activity Pool is a 75' X 40' Rectangle With a Beach Entry, Interior 'vortex', Training Lane and Splashing Features. The Total Surface Area is Approximately 3,352 Square Feet With a Perimeter of Approximately 265 Linear Feet With a Calculated Volume of Approximately 41,500 Gallons. The Pool is Capped With Bullnosed Coping Over Standard Waterline Tile With the Water Line About 4-1/2" Below the Deck. The Water From the Activity Pool is Pulled Into the Filter System via a Regiment of 5 Skimmers and 2-18"x18" Main Drains. There Are Two Other Pairs of 4" Schedule 80 Pvc Piping Drains for the 'vortex' and Features. A 3.5' Diameter X 6' Long Horizontal, Carbon Steel Filter Tank Has a Filtration Surface Area of 21 Square Feet. Each Bid Must Be Made Upon the Prescribed Forms, Furnished With the Contract Drawings and Specifications, Accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the Form of a Bid Bond From a Surety/bonding Company Licensed and Qualified to Do Business in the State of New Jersey, a Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in the Amount of Ten (10%) of the Total Amount of the Bid, but Not to Exceed $20,000.00 to Insure Signing of the Contract.
