The Borough of Chester is requesting quotes for the landscaping and upkeep of Borough-owned property located at Grove Street Park. This multi-activity park requires weekly maintenance to beautify, trim, weed, mulch, edge, and maintain the trees in the park. In exchange for these services, the contractor will be permitted to post four 18" x 18" advertisement signs at the site. Bidders must include at least three current references, a list of current jobs within or near the Borough, a list of equipment to be used at the site, total estimated weekly hours needed, proof of liability insurance, and an overview of proposed plantings and landscaping. The concession will be awarded based on the proposed landscape plan, estimated hours, and other relevant factors such as business location and available equipment. Signs must be approved prior to placement, must not be permanently affixed, and must be installed per specified requirements. The Borough reserves the right to cancel the agreement with 60 days' written notice.
