Site work and renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Concord, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a clubhouse / community center.
**As of January 5, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The project's primary purpose is to install waterproof coatings at the Civic Center Fountain. The work includes site mobilization, install reinforced concrete encasement around existing HVAC pipes, preparation of existing fountain surface to receive new coatings, installation of coatings to fully waterproof the fountain floor and inner walls, and cleanup, attending weekly meetings, providing required submittals and schedules, and coordinating with other projects ongoing at Civic Center. Question Deadline 11/26/2025 at 2:00 PM PT: Deadline for Requests for Information Submit all questions via EMAIL to William.wahbeh@cityofconcord.org. Scope of work also includes preparatory work, securing the work area for public safety, and site cleanup daily, and all other work as specified in these Special Conditions, Technical Provisions, and as shown on the Plans. The Project must be fully completed within 60 calendar days from the start date set forth in the Notice to Proceed. City anticipates that the Work will begin in October 2025 but the anticipated start date is provided solely for convenience and is neither certain nor binding. This Project requires the bidding contractor hold a valid California contractor's license for the following classifications: Class "B" General Building and Class "C-39" Roofing Contractor. The Bid Form must be accompanied by bid security of ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of a cashier's or certified check made payable to City, or a bid bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California on the Bid Bond form included with the Contract Documents. The bid security must guarantee that within ten days after City issues the Notice of Potential Award, the successful bidder will execute the Contract and submit the payment and performance bonds, insurance certificates and endorsements, and any other submittals required by the Contract Documents and as specified in the Notice of Potential Award. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the Contract Price, as further specified in the Contract Documents.
