Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Concord, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the construction of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

**As of March 18th,2026 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The project consists of partial demolition of existing structures and construction of a new, one-story office building approximately 3000 square feet in size. The work includes but is not limited to mobilization, stormwater pollution protection, sheeting, shoring and bracing, sewer and stormwater connections, hazardous materials abatement, new fire barrier wall construction, fire sprinkler demolition, earthwork, concrete, framing, insulation, siding, roofing, doors, windows, hardware, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, low voltage IT and access control, fiber optic, solar photovoltaic and battery storage system, sitework, landscape, fencing, and asphalt slurry seal. Location. The Project is located at 1455 Gasoline Alley, Concord, California 94519. Time for Final Completion. The Project must be fully completed within 277 calendar days from the start date set forth in the Notice to Proceed. City anticipates that the Work will begin on or about January 2026, but the anticipated start date is provided solely for convenience and is neither certain nor binding. Liquidated Damages. It is expressly understood that if Final Completion is not achieved within the Contract Time, City will suffer damages from the delay that are difficult to determine and accurately specify. City will charge the Contractor $1000 for each calendar day that Final Completion is delayed beyond the Contract Time. Bid Security. The Bid Proposal must be accompanied by bid security of ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of a cashier's or certified check made payable to City, or a bid bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California on the Bid Bond form included with the Contract Documents.
